Why did we develop Express-CMS?
We felt that there was a gap in the market for a system to specifically meet the web content management needs of small to medium sized companies. Unlike our competitors who offer large bloated systems with lots of little-used complicated features, Express-CMS set out to develop only the features that would add benefit to our customers. This allows us to keep both the complexity and cost of our application to a minimum.
We laid down a core set of development aims which the system would have to meet:
- It must be easy for non-technical staff to update the website.
- It must be quick and simple to setup.
- It must not limit the design of the website in any way.
- It must not reduce the accessibility of the website.
- It must not adversely affect the performance of the website.
- It must be possible to use remotely via the internet.

- We must offer customization services to clients.
